Webiface needed a way to recover missed business calls automatically. Service businesses — plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians — miss calls while on job sites. By the time they call back, the lead has often gone to a competitor. The solution: a multi-tenant platform that instantly texts back missed calls, runs AI conversation flows, captures lead information, and notifies business owners in real time.

Service businesses lose significant revenue from missed calls. When a technician is on a job site, they can't answer the phone. Manual follow-up is inconsistent — some owners call back within minutes, others forget entirely. Leads go cold. Competitors who answer first win the business. Existing solutions were either too complex, too expensive for small businesses, or lacked the AI conversation capabilities needed to qualify leads automatically.

The platform had to support multiple businesses (multi-tenant) from day one. AI conversations needed to feel natural — not like scripted chatbots. Response time had to be near-instant after a missed call. Owners needed immediate visibility into new leads without checking a dashboard constantly.

The Solution

We built a Laravel-based multi-tenant platform integrated with Twilio for phone/SMS and Flowise + OpenAI for AI conversation handling. When a call is missed, the system instantly sends an SMS. The AI then handles the follow-up conversation — asking qualifying questions, capturing contact details, and understanding the service need. Once qualified, the business owner receives an instant notification with the lead details and conversation history. A central dashboard lets owners view all leads, review conversation transcripts, adjust AI behavior, and track campaign performance.
